All of their fish!!!

The boys are hooked on fishing. They had great sucess at fishing on Friday. They had so much fun. They both caught their limit within 1/2 hour of starting. Then they came home and ate them. They said they were delicious.

1st Week of Summer Vacation

Lizzy in her new big girl bed

After biking we explored the river. Pretty funny picture.
A little pool by the river.

Lizzy and Thomas helped me paint the closet

The first week of summer vacation has been really fun. We went swimming (indoor pool), went on a bike ride (went from the railroad bridge park to Robin Hill Park), watched a show called Haromica Pockets at the library, painted my new closet and the beams in the family room (Looks awesome. Monday I plan on painting the walls of my family room), the boys went fishing (caught fish and ate them), Lizzy went to a princess party and a Minnie Mouse party and Thomas and Henry went to a slumber party plus we got rid of Lizzy crib and now she is in a big girl bed (YEAH!!!!).

60 degrees

Digging and Digging and Digging
Where is the rest of Henry?

Thomas on the rocks ready to dive in for a hermit crab

Lizzy collected a lot of seaweed today. She said I couldn't eat it, it would be gross.

Still digging

Well, today was 1 of maybe 5 days this year it has hit 60 degrees so we decided it was time to go to the beach. The kids had a great time. I would think they would get tired of Hollywood Beach but we were there for 2 hours and they could have been there for another 2 hours. What could be better then digging and looking for hermit crabs.

Tumbling Class

I think the hardest thing they did on this trampoline was doing push ups going down the trampoline. They were also learning how to somersault-flip thing.
Floor exercises. They were warming up here.

Thomas and Henry have been taking a Gymnastic class since January. Since you can't take pictures with a flash during class it was hard to get a good picture of what they have been doing. I was able to take a couple of pictures during their program. The pictures didn't turn out really good but you get the idea. Thomas really like the rope climbing. He can make it to the top of the rope and could keep on going if he could. Henry liked doing cartwheels. He is really good at them. They also used a couple of different trampolines, did the bars and went around in circles, ran up walls and ran around in circles. They had a great time.

Wednesday afternoon

Henry jumping over the creek
Thomas jumping over the creek

Lizzy holding the frog (she didn't want to put the frog back. The only way she did, was by telling her the frog would miss his mother).

Thomas riding around

Finding the frog

Lizzy learning to scooter
Henry chasing bugs.
Wednesday, we went to Lincoln park to collect some insects for Henry. Henry has decided this is his new thing. He collects the insects and pins them when he gets home. It is fun to see him to this. Lizzy and Henry decided they wanted to ride while Henry collected. It was a great raining afternoon to be outside. The big bonus was finding a frog.

First Fun Run

Just before the race
All ready to go

Thomas and Lizzy playing Uno. Lizzy actually is quite fun to play with.

It was marathon weekend here in Port Angeles. Part of the marathon weekend is the the kid's marathon. The boys would run at school and the PE teacher would keep track of how many miles they had run. The last 1.2 miles was a fun run. I know Henry ran all 26.2 miles. Thomas had around 20 miles before the race. Chris was way excited for the race probably more excited about it then the boys.
