The Fort or The House (depends on who you ask)

The fort is completely done. YEAH!!!! Chris was able to stain it two weeks ago (just in time for the rain). It looks amazing. We have the best fort in PA!!!! The kids love it and play on it all the time. Thomas and Henry are stashing sunflower stalks for swords (beware of standing below the windows). Lizzy uses it more for a house and make delicious cakes and pies. Thank-you Grandpa and Grandma Damstedt for coming and building the fort. WE LOVE IT!!!!!

Life goes on

We are over the flu and had a busy week. We started soccer and have had a couple of games. We finished the fort. It looks awesome. Thomas started Cub Scouts and is excited to go again this week. I will be posting pictures of it all but it might take me a couple of days or weeks (knowing me).

The pictures are of the salmon run going on in the river Sol Duc. It isn't as cool as Alaska but we were able to see fish jump up the Cascades about every 5 minutes or so.

Welcome Back to School

Well, thought I wouldn't post any pictures this week since we haven't done much except throw-up!!!! Yes, we have all throw-up except Chris. We are mostly recovered and are enjoying the sunshine.

Well, the first day of school went great. Henry said, "I had a great day. I had TWO recesses. My teacher read I am scared to go to school. (The book tricked me because it wasn't the student who was scared but the teacher.)"

Thomas said, " I had inside recess (because it was raining). I played checkers with Derek! I won his king."

As you can see, the boys love recess.

Have a wonderful Labor Day weekend. I am hoping to finish the fort. YEAH!!!!!!

Thought I would get my blog up and running before the boy's started school. I know I have been saying this for over a year but now it is done. Now I only have one more goal to finish by the end of the year. (Finish Les Miserable) YEAH!!!!

Anyway, I am learning how to blog and haven't figured everything out yet. But at least you have a few pictures. So hopefully, I can figure how to turn pictures so they are not sideways and put awesome backgrounds like Eliza does.

Well, I finally decided to do a blog!!!
